ABOUT STRENGTH CLASSES
Strength at Fever goes beyond traditional training. As a premier fitness studio in Grand Rapids for over 10 years, we combine barre, Pilates, and functional strength to create a balanced, results-driven experience. With both infrared-heated classes like Hot Barre Burn and Hot Pilates, and non-heated options including FIT, Classical Barre, and Mat Pilates, our programming is designed to build strength, improve control, and support long-term performance.
Barre (50)
Barre delivers incredible body-changing results with a low to no-impact workout that is approachable for all fitness levels and ages. This is a total body workout that uses small range motions to fatigue the muscles and large range movement to elevate your heart rate. Props are used such as ballet barres, bands, tubing, balls, weights, glider discs, and core mats to enhance the experience.
Ride (30) + Fit (30)
All levels 60 minute fitness class combining Express Ride and strength training. Prepare to start in Studio C for cardio and head to Studio A for core work, toning and sculpt. Accessible to ALL.
FIT (30)
FIT (30) is a full body 30 minute work out that will build your strength + confidence. Using resistance training, circuits, and free weights to maximize health benefits, build muscle and maintain a healthy body composition. Increasing the body’s muscle mass, overall metabolic rate increases, which results in more calories burned throughout the day, not just during your work out.
Barre Sculpt (50)
Barre Sculpt (50) is a 50 minute total body workout that is held center floor. We use larger range motions to fatigue the muscles and elevate the heart rate. Gain balance and coordination with fun choreography and props such as bands, tubing, balls, weights, glider discs and body bars. Barre experience preferred before trying on this challenging class.
PILATES (50)
Ignite your core and sculpt your body in this dynamic pilates class. This mat-based workout combines precision with strength, endurance, and mindful movement. Expect a low-impact, intentional flow that strengthens your core, tones every muscle group, and leaves you feeling powerful and centered. Whether you’re new to Pilates or a seasoned practitioner, this class will challenge your body and focus your mind in the most invigorating way.
Hot Pilates (50 INFRARED)
Ignite your core and sculpt your body in this dynamic Hot Pilates class, powered by the healing heat of infrared. This mat-based workout combines Pilates precision with strength, endurance, and mindful movement — all in a heated environment designed to elevate your energy and deepen your results. Expect a low-impact, intentional flow that strengthens your core, tones every muscle group, and leaves you feeling powerful and centered. Whether you’re new to Pilates or a seasoned practitioner, this class will challenge your body and focus your mind in the most invigorating way.
Hot Barre Sculpt (50)
Hot Barre Sculpt is a 50 minute total body workout that is held center floor at 95 degrees. We use larger range motions to fatigue the muscles and elevate the heart rate. Gain balance and coordination with fun choreography and props such as bands, tubing, balls, weights, glider discs and body bars. Please bring your own hot yoga mat designed to stabilize you in the heat.
Hot Barre BURN (50 INFRARED)
Hot Barre Burn (50) combines the sculpting precision of barre with the deeply therapeutic benefits of infrared heat. This hot barre class blends small, targeted movements and high-repetition strength work to tone and lengthen your entire body, while the gentle infrared warmth promotes muscle flexibility, boosts circulation, and enhances detoxification at a cellular level. The heated environment intensifies your workout safely, helping you achieve a deeper sweat and improved mobility without harsh impact. Expect to challenge your endurance, strengthen your core, and leave feeling powerful, cleansed, and deeply rejuvenated.
