ABOUT RECOVERY
Recovery is an essential part of any balanced fitness routine. Our recovery classes in Grand Rapids are designed to reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, and support long-term performance. Through restorative yoga, meditation, myofascial release, and therapeutic bodywork, we create space for your body to repair and reset. Whether you’re recovering from strength training, cycling, or daily stress, these sessions help restore balance, calm the nervous system, and keep you moving well.
Gentle Restore + Sound Bath (60 warm)
Gentle Restore + Sound, a 60-minute sanctuary of serenity. Immerse yourself in the soft, elegant glow emanating from an LED-lit fireplace, casting a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room, adorned with seamless LED lighting in a spectrum of calming colors, creates a harmonious environment for your restorative yoga journey. Unwind in the embrace of gentle poses and rejuvenating stretches, as the soothing resonance of singing sound bowls envelops the space. This unique experience invites you to leave the outside world behind, welcoming you to embrace tranquility in the comfort of your pajamas. Glow, Restore, and Sound is more than a class; it’s a therapeutic escape to replenish your mind, body, and spirit.
Yoga Nidra Meditation + Sound Bath (60 room temp)
Yoga Nidra often referred to as “yogic sleep,” is a state of conscious relaxation that bridges the gap between wakefulness and slumber. Guided by an instructor’s soothing voice, participants lie comfortably and follow verbal cues to explore a deep state of relaxation. While the body rests, the mind remains alert, allowing for profound inner exploration and a sense of rejuvenation. This practice is known to reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, and foster mental clarity. Expect the room to be illuminated by our fireplace and soft candlelight. A beautiful sound bath will also be incorporated into this meditation session.
Deep release: Myofascial Freedom
75-minute myofascial release workshop designed to help you unwind deep-seated tension, restore mobility, and reconnect with your body in a more intelligent, supportive way.
Using foam rollers, therapy balls, and slow, intentional techniques, we will work with the fascial system to address common areas of restriction such as the hips, back, legs, and shoulders. Rather than forcing release, this workshop emphasizes sustained pressure, breath, and nervous system awareness to encourage tissue to soften and reorganize naturally.
Expect a grounded, methodical approach that supports joint health, improves movement efficiency, and creates changes that last beyond the session itself. This practice is ideal for anyone feeling tight, overworked, or restricted, whether from strength training, cycling, yoga, long hours sitting, or everyday stress.
Massage/Bodywork
Our signature Massage & Bodywork sessions combine relaxation with meaningful tissue work, blending slow myofascial techniques, therapeutic touch, and sensory elements to create a deeply restorative experience. Sessions may include heated tables, warm jojoba oil, steamed towels, and premium products designed to calm the nervous system while encouraging depth and change within the tissue. The result is a thoughtful balance of recovery, relaxation, and physical restoration.
This offering is part of our expanding recovery services at Fever, supporting longevity, nervous system health, and overall balance. Massage is not separate from the practice. It is an essential pillar within it.
