ABOUT RECOVERY CLASSES
Lay back, relax, and do everything short of falling asleep in a comfortable room with ambient lighting. Classes use gravity to naturally open the body. Restorative yoga, yin, and gentle yoga will guide you through longer-held poses as you seek tranquility for body, mind, and spirit. Props like blankets, bolsters, straps and bricks are used to help ease the body into relaxation. Please feel free to wear your most comfortable clothing.
Candlelight Restore
Candlelight Restore is a combination of supported poses and longer held floor poses. Aromatherapy and candlelight may be used in this class to compliment the postures. Prepare to dive into deep relaxation and bliss.
Gentle/Beginner Flow (60 not hot)
Gentle Beginner Flow offers an accessible and foundational yoga practice in a traditional (non-heated) environment. This class is taught by the owner of Fever who has over a decade of experience instructing yoga. Gentle Beginner is perfect for those embarking on their yoga journey for the first time or looking to slow down and learn more about the foundations of the practice. Expect to use props for a deeper experience.
Yoga Nidra Meditation + Sound Bath
Yoga Nidra often referred to as “yogic sleep,” is a state of conscious relaxation that bridges the gap between wakefulness and slumber. Guided by an instructor’s soothing voice, participants lie comfortably and follow verbal cues to explore a deep state of relaxation. While the body rests, the mind remains alert, allowing for profound inner exploration and a sense of rejuvenation. This practice is known to reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, and foster mental clarity. Expect the room to be illuminated by our fireplace and soft candlelight. A beautiful sound bath will also be incorporated into this meditation session.
